Professional Development

For 2025, the Intensive Chinese Network (ICN) is excited to announce an exciting new suite of PD programs for teachers interested or working in Chinese-English bilingual schools or CLIL programs. The revision has been inspired by the feedback received from past participants and facilitators over the last 3 years, as well as a sharpened focus on the ICN vision and strategy. The new programs have been designed to suit teachers with different levels of experience in bilingual education, and we hope there is something suitable for everyone!

We look forward to having you join our community of Chinese-English bilingual educators for another year of quality PD!

CLIL Curriculum - Step-by-Step

All teachers

“CLIL Curriculum - Step-by-Step” is a series of workshops that will take you through the key steps of building a CLIL unit in a hands-on manner.

This is an essential course for those who have not had the opportunity to be mentored into writing CLIL units in a systematic manner.

This course involves 6-8 sessions across Term 2 and Term 3, with an additional commitment of 1-2 hours between each session. You will also receive feedback along the way to ensure the curriculum you are building is on track.
